High Water Bridge Repair

I was the design engineer and drafter on a 3.2 million dollar project to repair a major river crossing at Camp Roberts. My responsibilities included drafting bridge cross sections and details for the 561 foot span, and calculating the water pressure at the support piles for various storm event scenarios.

The project scope also included repair of the existing supports, adding a 14 foot-wide vehicle lane, a 6 foot wide pedestrian lane, a new deck, new guard rails, curbs, and lights.
